A challenging day for our 2 groups yesterday with A challenging day for our 2 groups yesterday with strong southerly winds limiting our paddling options. We managed to get out from Ord onto Loch Eishort and paddled past the legendary Dùn Sgàthaich Castle. Some coaching on controlling your kayak in the wind was appreciated and put into practice in all directions. Some even enjoyed catching the occasional wave to surf. We spotted some beautiful eider ducks on our way and of course enjoyed views of the snowy Cuillin.
