Sea Kayak Taster Session
If you are looking for things to do on Skye, try out a sea kayak adventure for complete beginners. You will learn the basic skills and set off on a mini adventure along the coast. Spot wildlife, visit remote beaches and coves and paddle along the beautiful south Skye coast as part of a small, relaxed group. You will be guided by a fully qualified and experienced sea kayak guide who will provide a little coaching to get you going and make most of your session. This is perfect for families with children and people of all abilities who want to try something new.
Sessions last 3.5 hours, with aproximately 2 hours on the water. Choose between morning and afternoon session to suit your holiday schedule.

- wetsuit

- buoyancy aid /PFD

- pogies (paddle mittens)
- paddle & kayak
- All you need is a spare pair of socks and some comfortable base layers

To join a half day taster you should
- be happy outdoors
- be comfortable around the water
- be able to walk on uneven ground, such as a pebble beach.
- be prepared to help carry kayaks
- Weigh less than 120kg
We have single and double kayaks available. If you are confident in and on the water, sporty and adventurous, we may recommend a single kayak. If you have young children with you, are less confident, more than 90kg or wish to be in a stable craft, we may recommend a double kayak. We can also accommodate a wide range of disabilities. Just speak to us if you have any concerns.

Eilean Donan Castle Kayak Experience
Embark on a serene journey around Eilean Donan Castle in Dornie, and immerse yourself in the stunning scenery of Loch Duich. Surrounded by steep mountains and deep valleys, you will get a unique view of the Five Sisters of Kintail. We will get a close up view of the castle from all sides, an ideal place for a photo shoot.
As you glide along the rugged coastline, in stable and comfortable double kayaks, our expert guides will share stories of the area's rich history and vibrant culture. As well as an all round view of the famous castle, you'll have the opportunity to spot local wildlife.
Our guides will meet you in Dornie for this trip and bring all equipment with them.
